The GIT continues to work at the grassroots level by responding to the educational and social welfare needs of individuals, families and depressed communities across Guyana.  Our goal is to illuminate society through the beacon lights of ‘Faith & Righteous Works’.

   Some of the areas of operation in this regard:

• Organize Classes to educate the Muslims-young and elderly on Islam
• Regular Family forums and Social activities
• Organize and Manage Islamic Societies in schools
• Youth Programmes
• Partnership with Jamaats
• Da’wah to Non-Muslims
• Social Welfare programmes
• Women’s Skills Enhancement and Educational Activities
• Medical Programmes

Hundreds of persons have benefitted from these country-wide activities. We hope to consolidate on these gains and expand our scope of activities and services. All our services are free and accessible to everyone.

MASJID AN-NAJM

Alhamdulillah, Masjid an-Najm continues to be a beacon of light to the citizens of Albouystown and further afield. Activities over this past period included: New Muslim classes, Madrasah, skills training and other educational & welfare programs.
